REFINERY

Oil Refinery is an industrial plant that refines crude oil into petroleum products such as diesel, gasoline and heating oils. Oil refineries comes at the second stage in the production process following the actual extraction by oil rigs. The first step in the refining process is distillation where crude oil is heated at extreme temperatures to separate the different hydrocarbons.

Oil refineries are typically large, sprawling industrial complexes with extensive piping running throughout, carrying streams of fluids between large chemical processing units.

Group B&T partner with leading suppliers in order to provide specialty tube and pipe products to the refining and petrochemical industry.

Our range of pipes include high quality carbon steel, multiple chrome moly grades, austenitic stainless steel, nickel alloy grades and other grades which are able to withstand the extreme temperatures and corrosive environment of the following downstream applications:

  • FIRED HEATERS
  • HYDROCRACKERS
  • ETHANE CRACKING FURNACES
  • DELAYED COKERS
  • DIRECT REDUCTION IRON TECHNOLOGY (DRI) HEATERS
  • ATMOSPHERIC AND VACUUM DISTILLATION UNITS
  • FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKERS
  • CRYOGENIC VAPORIZERS
  • WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNITS
